Yadira Tirado was born in the Dominican Republic. In 1987 she relocated to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and attended the Juanita Gardine Elementary School where she learned how to speak, read, and write English. In June of 2000, she received her High School Diploma from St. Croix Educational Complex. On November 21, 2000, Yadira started working at Legal Services of the Virgin Islands as a Bi-lingual Receptionist. Currently, Yadira serves as Legal Support/Disaster Advocacy Coordinator and an interpreter for both the St. Croix and St. Thomas office.
